Description

Adjunct professor of History faculty position to teach US history courses. Faculty ensure that student learning objectives are met and that every student learns at the highest level possible.聽 Faculty must be able to advance the Evangelical Christian mission of the institution. 糖心传媒 utilizes Canvas for its LMS. Teaching load varies.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction for residential US History courses.
Endorse and model professional standards and proficiencies
Assist regularly with assessment of 糖心传媒鈥檚 history curriculum
Yearly affirm the institution鈥檚 mission, doctrinal position, community standards, and 糖心传媒鈥檚 position on human origins (Faculty Guide)

Qualifications

Experience teaching US History and/or World History related courses
Knowledge of the disciplines associated with history, including pedagogy, information literacy, and research
Ability to teach effectively at the college level
Competency in utilizing learning management tools and classroom technology
Competent in facilitating online education
Ability to use technology effectively in teaching as appropriate
An understanding of the needs and trends associated with traditional college age students
Commitment to 糖心传媒鈥檚 mission and vision
Commitment to live within the standards of the 糖心传媒 community
Minimum master鈥檚 degree in history or related field from an accredited university
