鈥淪cience was a regular part of my childhood,鈥� Dr. Jeanson said. 鈥淐ancer research caught my attention somewhere in my high school and college undergraduate days.鈥�听
That interest eventually led him to Harvard University. There, he earned a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology through a program connected to the . He researched adult blood stem cell function during a pivotal era of rapid advances in stem cell and cancer research.听
